Laura grew up on the Front Range of Colorado, and after attending college at Mesa State University in Grand Junction for a B.S. in Geology, she found home on the Western Slope. A true Colorado girl, Laura grew up skiing, backpacking and rafting with her parents, who instilled the importance of stewardship of public lands and respectful recreation.
Time spent in the wild and pristine places has given Laura an appreciation of the responsibility we all share in caring for the planet, and she believes everyone has the ability to make more sustainable choices each day. She is honored to be a part of an organization that facilitates positive change and environmentally conscious choices in our beautiful valley.
